CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - The Field School of Charlottesville is looking to move to a new location, thanks to an anonymous donor.
The all-boys middle school recently received a $1.5 million matching grant.
This monetary support will help the school move from its current location in Crozet to a new campus on Barracks Road.
The new campus will be 25-acres and help the school to utilize more outdoor spaces.
“This new campus affords us the opportunity to build a facility that is conducive and exciting for middle school boys and help them to grow both socially, emotionally and academically, but moving closer to Charlottesville will give us a better footprint and allow us to impact even more boys in the local community,” said the Head of School Bo Perriello.
The school hopes to break ground summer 2025.
