AT THE AERIE CAMPUS

Field School’s Campaign for the Aerie Campus is a bold investment in the promise of young men in our community who will become tomorrow’s leaders. Our new 22-acre campus on Garth Road, conveniently closer to town, is designed to meet the unique needs of middle school boys across Central Virginia, providing an environment where energy, curiosity, and character can thrive. By expanding our facilities and reimagining our learning spaces, we provide our teachers the tools to inspire, challenge, and guide boys to soar to new heights.

The Aerie campus will allow:

  • Learning with purpose: Classrooms that open to the outdoors—whether on the edge of a pond or a hillside overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains— where boys experience the connection between study and the natural world.

  • Active minds, active bodies: Boys are kinesthetic learners. Opportunities for boys to play, build, ride, and explore through fields, trails, and ropes courses that channel their energy into growth and discovery.

  • Beyond four walls: Boys learn through movement. An academic environment where lessons extend beyond desks and whiteboards to foster resilience, teamwork, and creativity.

  • Spaces that inspire: Collaborative areas that blend natural beauty with modern educational and technological resources, sparking both wonder and innovation.

  • Character at the core: A school intentionally built to guide boys toward confidence, responsibility, and accomplishment—foundations for a lifetime of leadership and service.

Together, we can provide boys with the space, freedom, and support they need to grow into the young men our world needs most.
