ACTIVITIES & CLUBS

CLUBS

Clubs meet up to twice per week for one-hour sessions and allow the boys to experience a wide array of activities including newspaper, coding, art, debate, math and many more. Clubs offer a chance for students to dive deep into a specific interest over a four-year period or choose to experience many different options during their time at Field School.

FIELD TRIPS

Field Trips are an integral part of the Field School experience and part of its long-standing tradition. These trips occur throughout the year and can be community-wide or grade-level specific, depending on the experience. Each year includes a fall and spring community hike in one of our many state and national parks. Our overnight trip to Camp Albemarle has always been a great community-building experience for our students and faculty. Other recent trips include UVA’s Rotunda, Fralin Museum, Blackfriars Playhouse of Staunton, Richmond Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian Institute, National Air and Space Museum, Richmond Science Museum, the Museum of African American History, and many more.
